Hello, my name is Doug Bird. Welcome to my web site. This site is about being outdoors as often as possible. Hope you can find something of interest here. I consider myself to be a very lucky man: I have good friends and family that enjoy the outdoors as much as I do. In the following pages you will get to meet them and see some of the things we do when we're together. 

I also have some links below to an assortment of family pictures we have taken and some old pictures that my brother Charlie has scanned. Charlie worked for months on this project. I have listed them as best I could so you can view whichever you are interested in.

I'm building this site because I think it will be interesting to share our fun and communicate with other people who have the same interests that we do, and because it's fun. Feel free to e-mail with comments or questions. If you want, you can send pictures or stories you want included.
